Quick abstract vector, Drowning dead. I need extra cash. I need a job, anything that can make me earn money.

A self-inspiration monster as a holiday gift for a friend. I made a promise long time ago like “someday I will make you a monster” and just recently I have this chance. You know what, there is one fact, creating a self-inspirational monster is INTERESTINGLY-SUPER-HARD! Don’t believe it? Try yourself and try not to fake it from other source. I sketched few and it turned out to be lame, halfway done characters.

But still this is still not the finest (you can see non-smooth line there and here).

Art is the selective re-creation or conversion of reality by the human mind into concrete imagery according to an artist’s metaphysical value judgements. Real or imagined concepts are filtered and altered through the human mind to the artist’s hand to create an image or sound that did not exist before.

The reason photography does not qualify as art is that the proses removes the filter of the human mind as interpretative element. Although photography requires technical skill, in the final analysis it is only a mechanical recording of reality

I am ready to take any illustration freelance job now, I guess. So if anyone/client interested in special-custom-made vector character or artwerk for whatever reason we can discuss it, I’ll make it as professional as possible. Price tags starting from RM100++. Thanks and happy holiday.

PS: It’s in vector format hmm start wondering what you can do with vector files and don’t limit yourself with a piece of print of design on paper. I don’t want to give a lot of hints.

4hours in Illustrator and FW.  I have bad cough recently, really bad and it turned to be bad sore throat – I can’t speak much yesterday. I sketched this on paper yesterday but I could not vector it until after work today.

Moral of the story: If you get sick, don’t wait to meet your doctor. Take medicine and MC. Isolated from your friends. It’s not cool if you think your body is so strong to stand against the infection and refuse to meet doctor. Your friends deserved a viral-free life too.

I wish I have a cool mask to wear haha JK, maybe as collection. I know there are some out there but it’s hard to get it here.

I failed to finish this design on estimated time, 1am, (sad face) but it’s quite satisfying. This idea was sketched during the last half hour before wen t back from work. My manager saw this and said “Nice. Are you sketching DAP?” and I replied “No. This is space rocket.” He replied “Yalah, DAP logo is rocket whut!“. We both laughed.

I just noticed that Illustrator has much more coolness than corel paint 11 for vector stuff :  ) Corel paint for paint ok set as default in my head. ps: inspired from nvrmnd, if you feel look-familiar kind of feeling. Saje test illustrator for tonight.

1st attempt on complex vector, satisfied. Maybe a  full shirt design :-) comment and critics are welcome!

There are few rare animals that I would like to draw such as walrus, deer and whale -but not panda this time. Animals are good (stupid quote from me :P).
