I’m in the state of buying the famous D90 because of it being the successor of D80, which for me is a good camera though. There are few thing I love bout this camera and the most important is -It can mount nearly all Nikon lens. It’s impossible to say that you will stick to one lens in entire of your life and there will be a time when you have this curiosity to mount another kind of lens such as fish-eye lens or whatever. Oh about the Nikon kind of thing, I not a fanboy of any camera manufacturers but I found that Nikon has an affordable offer balanced with performance and most single-lens reflex camera manufacturers are reaching this constant performance state kind of thing or what we called the end of Murphy’s Law effect (I’m joking). Leica camera is another kind of thing. By the way, this is hobby kind of thing and I’m referring myself as a happy snapper and not wedding photographer or professional photographer kind of person. Back to the camera, I don’t really need the HD movie features though because I believe that camera only serves purpose as camera but culturally camera definition might change after 10-20 years. Talking about the physical D90 body, I rather believe that D90 posses a solid body, tank-like kind of thing, which to me a good point. I don’t want it’s material to be like too fragile like my previous D40 lens, which the focus will slide out with gravitational pull. But again you will pay what you gain and I’m getting ready to cut the living cost as minimal as possible to recover this kind of thing (notice that I’m repeating “this kind of thing” haha thanks to our Cultural Anthropology’s lecturer).
I heard that there is price war going on for D90 because of there is some rumors that another replacement of D90 might come into the market. So I think it is the best time to interfere this kind of thing (again). There are few shop that I’ll stop by, first Foto Shangrila which probably will offer RM3750 (kit set), second 3C shop Low Yat that will offer RM3800 (Original kit set) & RM3500 (Grey kit set) and finally the Mr. Johnny’s shop Foto Selangor since I have been buying stuff from him 2 years ago.
Till fate

yeah, D90 would be a good investment, there’s no need to second that. Still a long way to go. Sampai kerja lah nampaknya. Gahhh.
