Boo Payar Island is getting suck. I was not satisfied and the budget planning was suck too. Next time, if I’m going to any vacation, I will make sure I make the budget. By the way, I had my hands on the Holga 120 CFN for the first time and it’s not just about the vacation -more bout the Holga. BTW I borrowed this Holga 120CFN from Farid, Lomokids taiko. Here are some comments bout the Holga:
*Light and handy, which are good
*Made from cheap plastic and made in China
*Use Holga 120 format for 35mm film format is quite hussle
*Few leakages at the edges of back cover (China made)
*Prepare a PVC black tape in handy to cover leakages
*No auto rolls film like action sampler, instead I have to roll it manually in darkroom or in bag
*Risk of film to expose to light is quite high
*Expect only one good picture per film roll
*Always look for photo shoppes and ask for film/expired film
*Prepare a lot of money
Since I once had a cheap action sampler, Holga is a little bit reliable and tougher. However, it still don’t reach my expectation (I don’t know whether other models are better or not). Maybe LC-A is a good one -maybe.
Lomo pictures will be updated later. I had 9 pictures for the 1st roll and there are few rolls more.
//Update: I have to cut some rants. Peace
